  • Alton C. Shields
    Founder & Principal Consultant

    Alton C. Shields  is  the  Principal  Consultant  and  Managing   Member  of  Infinity, L.L.C.,  a  Business Development Consulting Firm  and the  parent company of both Infinity Business Solutions  (IBS) and Infinity  Real  Estate Solutions  (IRES),  with  locations in Birmingham, AL,  Hunsville, AL and Atlanta, GA.   Alton is  a  former  food  industry  executive  with over   twenty   (20)   years   of   training, management and leadership experience in food processing, packaging  and  restaurant operations.  He founded  Infinity, LLC  in 2002 to provide  services that simplified  business start-up,  expansion and ownership transition for entrepreneurs  and  small companies.    The  firm now  provides  services  in  Site  &  Commercial  Real Estate Development, Business Brokering  and  Business Development Consulting primarily in the retail,  restaurant and business-to-business industries.

    Alton  started  his  career  in  food  manufacturing  as  a  production  and  sanitation  supervisor  and  quickly moved through the ranks to Assistant Plant Manager at two different Fortune 50 companies.   He has been a field   and   corporate   operations   executive   for   some  of   the   largest corporate,  franchise   and  start-up restaurant chains in the country.    Alton was a Vice President of Operations  and Operations Support for the largest privately  held restaurant franchise group in the world.    He was also the key operator and partner in one  of the largest  franchise  organizations  of  QSR Magazine’s #1 rated (2005 & 2006) drive-thru  chain.  Alton has over fifteen (15) years of site development and commercial real estate experience.

    Alton  is  a  graduate of  Purdue University  with a B.S. degree in  Industrial Management & Engineering, and also  attended graduate school  at  Louisiana State University  where he  concentrated his studies in Marketing.    Alton  is  a  licensed  commercial  real estate agent, a licensed  business  broker  and  a  certified Servsafe  Instructor  and  Proctor.    He  has  been  a  member  of  The Executive Committee (TEC),  and Alton  is  a  graduate  of  the  Leadership  Development  Program  at  the  prestigious  Center  for Creative Leadership in Greensboro, NC.

  • Carole L. Shields
    Senior Vice President, Real Estate & Qualifying Broker
                                                                                    

    Carole L. Shields   is  a   multi-dimensional   talent   that  is   comfortable   working   on   either side   of  the commercial  and  residential   real  estate  market, and  she heads  up  the Real Estate  and  Site Development areas of Infinity Realty Solutions (IRES).   Carole was   born   to  be  a  Realtor ®,   and  has been  in  the real estate business for more than ten (10) years.   She has sold homes and commercial developments in  both Alabama and Louisiana.  Carole  is also a licensed real estate professional, a licensed real estate broker, and the Qualifying Broker for IRES in Alabama.    Prior to  entering  the  real estate  industry Carole enjoyed a successful career as a retail manager.

    Carole  graduated   from  Indiana  University  with  a  B.S. degree  in Retail Management  and  Marketing.   She  then   earned  her  Masters  degree  in  Human  Resources  and  Organizational  Behavior  from  Tulane University.  Carole has extensive experience as a career counselor and organizational behavior consultant and has been a leader in developing our training material in this area.

  • Nathan Shaw
    Vice President, Business Development

    Nathan Shaw   is  the  Senior Vice President  of  Business Development  for  Infinity Business Solutions (IBS).        Nathan    is    a    former    Pharmaceutical    Consultant    who  worked    for   three   of   the   top   25  Pharmaceutical   companies   in   the world.    He  has  over thirteen (13) years  of  experience consulting  Key Opinion Leaders and Decision Makers in patient  management  as well  as the development of protocols  and  physician  standing  orders  that  were  implemented  throughout  hospitals, teaching  institutions, long-term care and sub-acute care facilities.

    As an entrepreneur, Nathan is the  co-founder  of an Alabama based beverage company.   In this capacity, he acquired  a  wealth  of  knowledge  in  new  business start-ups  and  partnerships.  Overall, Nathan brings over twenty (20)  years  of  experience  in  business  development  and  contract  negotiations  that  is  a welcomed addition to the Infinity, L.L.C. family.  In addition, Nathan is a licensed real estate professional, a licensed real estate broker, and the Qualifying Broker for IRES in Georgia.

    Nathan is a graduate of Tuskegee University with a B.S. in Business.  He also holds a Certificate of Award from the NxLevel Entrepreneurial Training Program as well as many Level of Excellence Awards and Certificates for outstanding sales and marketing achievements.

  • Evan A. Shields
    Vice President, Corporate Communications

    Evan A. Shields is a multi-faceted individual  with  interests in international business, politics and music.  As a champion  in  debate   and   the  performance arts,  Evan brings  a  creative  and  effective communications skills component to Infinity Business Solutions.  His ability to diagnose an issue and offer recommend- ations has provided IBS the ability to articulate long-term resolutions to communications issues.

  • Tony McDaniel
    Vice President, Marketing and Communications Strategy

    Tony McDaniel  is  Infinity Business Solutions  go-to  guy  when  our  clients  are  in  need of  integrated marketing and communications strategies that set them apart from the competition.  Tony’s strong business acumen, creativity, and problem  solving  skills  serve  our clients well in the development of short- and long-term  marketing  strategies,  tactical  execution  initiatives,  internal and external  communication programs, and  marketing  staff  development.    Tony  has  demonstrated  the  ability  to  drive customers through your doors, help increase your company’s profitability, and enhance perceptions of your brand.

    Tony  is  an award-winning  marketer  having over 14 years of experience leading the marketing, advertising, sales and communications  functions  for  both regional  and national brands.    His experience includes work with start-up brands, mature brands, and brands in a turn-around situation.    Tony has a unique perspective having worked in a variety of business environments – franchisor, franchisee, and advertising agency – and for large and small companies alike. 

    Tony  is  a  graduate  of  Lipscomb University  in  Nashville, TN,  with  a  Bachelors Degree  in  Marketing Communications.  He is the recipient of numerous marketing and advertising industry awards.

    Mark Sievers is the founder of The Sievers Company, LLC and has an extensive and highly diversified career in  both the  corporate world  and in  private consulting practice.  He has worked  at  the executive level for a succession of companies and has experience in M&A transactions, information technology, supply chain and product/concept  development.   His  last  corporate  position  was  that  of  Chief Innovation Officer  for  the LJS/A&W division of YUM! BRANDS in Louisville, Kentucky which is the largest restaurant company in the world as measured by number of restaurants.   This diversity of experience enables him  to  evaluate and add value to a business through a balanced and multi-functional perspective.

    Mark's education includes:

    Dominick Wallace  is the  President  and  Managing  Director  of  Wallace  Capital  Funding.  Dominick has been involved in many successful entrepreneurial pursuits since the age of seventeen.  He has owned several business entities from  a  contract painting  business, to book sales  and  distribution, and the distribution  of  products and services  in  the nutritional  and  health care industry.  Through prior business experiences and research,  Dominick  saw  the  need,  importance  and  challenge  in  gaining   access  to  capital  and  cash flow management.   Through  his  networking  and  training,  Dominick earned a network of investors and funding sources nationwide.
